How to Perform the Hajj

The Hajj is a sequence of ceremonies performed in and around Mecca during the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijja, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. All Muslims who are physically able to travel must make the pilgrimage; those who do so are given the title "Al-Hajj." The most popular types of hajj include the rituals conducted during umrah, the minor pilgrimage rite, and activities performed during hajj. Dubai Abbatoir

It is crucial to prepare for the journey by being familiar with its rites and rules before beginning. You will have the chance to learn about the prayers to say at each stop, the preparations you will need to do before travelling to the holy land, and the necessary vaccines required. Classes are offered by mosques and other organisations charged with the responsibility. If you will be sharing a hotel room, you will also get the chance to meet your hajj guide.

Additionally, you should dress for the pilgrimage rituals at the location where you will enter Mecca. Some travellers who come by plane change just before touching down, and the location of the rituals depends on the direction you are travelling in.

When you arrive in Mecca, you will head to the Masjid al-Haram, the mosque that encircles the Ka'bah, to do the tawaf, which is a number of laps you walk around the Ka'bah. You can also approach the Multazam side of the Ka'bah and offer any prayers you like. The next step is to run between the hills Marwah and Safa, or to complete the sa'i. To make this exercise simpler, the Saudi Arabian government built an enclosed walkway.

Your party will go to Mina on the first day of hajj, which is a location three miles from Mecca, and spend the day there praying. You will travel to Arafat the following day to offer prayers to Allah. On the second day, after dusk, you are to go to Muzdalifah and pray while gathering 21 pebbles, each of which should not be larger than a chickpea. You will return to Mina on the third day before dawn and execute jamarat, which involves stoning three pillars to represent the rejection of evil. The third is when the animal sacrifice will be made, which is also Eid al-Adha. Prior to travelling back to Mecca to do the last tawaf, which signifies the end of your hajj, you will remain in Mina until the fourth or fifth day.
